IYI 301 Rocket®️ Foundations in Tallinn, Estonia

The 301 Module is designed for yoga teachers who are certified at the 200 hundred level in another lineage. Do you want to learn, practice and teach The Rocket® at its source? The purpose of this program is to be supportive. Learn and integrate the main ingredients of the It’s Yoga System of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. As a result, you will have the confidence, independence and freedom to share the practice with others.

Program Contents:
History of Ashtanga Yoga: Learn about the lineage and philosophy of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Beginning with Sri Pattabhi Jois, T.Krishnamachayra, B.K.S Iyengar, and culminating with Larry Schultz. Explore the Yoga Sutras: The Eight Limbs of Patanjali.
Theory and Practice: Learn Pranayama, Ujjayi breath, Sun Salutations, The It’s Yoga System, and Breathing within Ashtanga Sequences
Anatomy: Name and locate muscles, bones and joint. Above all, understand spinal integrity and functional movement
Chakras, Naulis and Bandhas, Yoga as an Energetic System: Names, functions, locations and importance.
Find your inner teacher: Understand the principles of teaching etiquette/responsibility in the classroom. Simultaneously, find your own voice as a teacher. Develop a personal teaching philosophy. Moreover, market yourself as a teacher.

The Venue: It’s Yoga Tallinn is located in the center of the magical and historical Old Town in the capital city of Northern Europe.
Tallinn’s Old Town is where the medieval markets meet modern restaurants. Its colorful houses, secret courtyards and grandiose churches were built between the13th to 16th centuries. It’s Yoga Tallinn is also situated in one of the busiest streets: Viru courtyard. No worries, we will give you a hint where to find us!  Tallinn is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe. Enjoy exploring this Fairy-tale, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
