Kunkanit Phrombut (Joy) Joy was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1979. Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Apply Art from a University in Bangkok on 2000. She began to practiced yoga in 2005, Since that time she started to realize what she really wanted to do in her life, so she continued her yoga journey, practiced and learned with many teachers around the world and studied in many different styles of yoga like: Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Rocket Yoga with Larry Schultz, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in Mysore with R.Sharath Jois, Iyengar Yoga from Justin Herold, Anusara Yoga from Bo Srey, Applied Anatomy&Yoga with Simon Borg Olivia, between others. About her formation as a teacher, her first Yoga Teacher Training Course was in 2007 with Absolute Yoga Thailand, and obtained her 200 Hrs Hot Yoga teacher certification. In 2010, she took one of the most transformative training of her live with Larry Schultz, the founder of It’s Yoga and his wife Marie. This course has awaked on her a dormant potential as a practitioner and as a trainer. Since that time she began to be a Trainer for It’s Yoga, she started to teach in the Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hours programs from 2011. She and Ricardo Martin have been teaching and working as a couple during the Teacher Training. Which is bring a lot of balance between Male and Female energy as witnessed in my training with Larry and Marie. They love to share the passion of yoga practice together. Both of them have taught and supported many Yoga Practitioners to be able to reach the goal of the Training. So the practitioner will know how to teach , to find they own voice and be able to get the Certified from It’s Yoga. Together they have helped bring forth many good quality yoga teachers throughout the world, and they continue to do so through It’s Yoga in Bali. Joy also maintain on Vippasana Meditation in everyday life and always shares the meditation technique with her students, as she discovered the Vippasana meditation is very helpful and get along with the yoga practice. “It shows you the truth of life to know its nothing more important than Now, it give us opportunity to see things clearly as it is, to be able to let it go ” Joy said.
