What is the It’s Yoga International Community?
The Rocket® is such a unique style of yoga and It’s Yoga International is honored to be the Official Institute of this system. The IYI Community section will be a permanent part of the website that will serve as a place for official It’s Yoga International Trainings Graduates to display their information for the world to see. The IYI Community will also serve as a resource center. Here are some of the benefits of being registered:

Michèle Anne Barocchi received her PhD in Infectious Diseases and Immunity from University of California, Berkeley in 2003. During her doctoral studies she discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in a small studio in the Haight District in San Francisco. She decided to attend the It’s Yoga San Francisco Teacher training in June, 2003, prior to moving to Florence, Italy – in order to deepen her practice of Ashtanga. There she met Larry Schultz, and with his inspiration, founded the Cultural Association It’s Yoga Firenze in 2004. Via dei Bardi 21 was formally inaugurated on February 21, 2007. She is a Yoga Alliance registered ERYT-200, and has attended workshops by David Swenson (Bolgona, Italy) and Manju Pattahbi Jois (Bologna, Italy). Michèle is actively involved in supporting the vision of It’s Yoga International. She is the European Ambassador and will serve as contact and support for current and future IY schools and affiliates in Europe. She continues to do research in pediatric ID full time.
