Asked Questions Regarding Teacher Training
Q: How much does the training cost?
$2100(2008)/$2400(2009). We require a $650 non refundable but transferable
deposit to secure your spot. The balance can be paid on the first day
of training.
Q: Is any part of the training tuition
refundable?
Upon registering for the course, we are happy to
transfer your enrollment from one session to another, however there will
be no refunds.
Q: How do I apply?
You can fill out an application online (here).
Q: How early should I apply?
As soon as possible. To allow for personal attention,
we keep our trainings small (20-25 students). We recommend applying at
least one month before the starting date.
Q: How do I secure a spot?
The only way to guarantee a space in the training
is with a $650 deposit paid by mailing a check to the studio address (848
Folsom Street San Francisco, CA 94107), or by calling the studio (415-543-1970)
and paying by credit card.
Q: Which month should I apply for?
Whichever month works best with your schedule. The
material covered remains consistent throughout the trainings.
Q: Can I work and attend
the training at the same time?
It’s a challenging month, but we have had students hold part time
jobs while doing the training.
Q: Where do I stay if I’m coming
from out of town/country?
Those who wish to live around the studio during
the training are advised to find subleases on the website www.craigslist.com.
We also know of a few subleases through students and teachers at the studio,
and offer our support in setting up accommodations with them.
Q: Is It’s Yoga affiliated with
the Yoga Alliance?
YES! It's Yoga is pleased to be affiliated with
The Yoga Alliance organization and our program meets their requirement
for a 200 hour course.
